Protecting your privacy is important to Business in Schools. Whenever we collect and otherwise deal with your personal information, we are governed by the South Australian Government’s Information Privacy Principles. This website collects a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes – your IP address, date and time of the visit to the site, pages accessed, and documents downloaded, the previous site visited, and the type of browser used. No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities except, in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect our service provider’s logs. This information is analysed at the end of each month to determine the site’s usage statistics.

Whenever we collect personal information from you, whether online or in hard copy form when dealing with your registration or any inquiries you may have, we will make every reasonable attempt to inform you of why we are collecting your information, to whom we will disclose that information and the purposes for which we intend to use that information.

If you choose to subscribe to any mailing lists provided by Business in Schools, your name and contact details will be requested. This information is stored on our system and is only accessible by approved Business in Schools staff. An unsubscribe facility is enabled with any broadcast email correspondence. We will not use your e-mail address for any other purpose, and will not disclose or sell it, without your consent. You can withdraw permission for us to contact you at any time.

Please note that the Business in Schools website contains links to a number of other web sites. When a user has clicked on a link to another site, they leave the Schools in Business’ site and are no longer protected by Business in Schools Privacy conditions.
